  • “A fascinating twist on the theatrical form. Wood builds her character with the lightest of touches.” ★★★★ FringeGuru

“An absolutely outstanding, if troubling, performance that deserves all the acclaim it can get. Pick of the fringe.” Chris Neville-Smith

A private flat is made the setting for a portrait of quiet desperation in this “deeply personal, intriguing and compelling” (FringeGuru) new production of Franz Xaver Kroetz’s unique wordless play that explores loneliness and isolation in a city filled with life.

Every night, an intimate audience will gather in Miss Rasch’s bedsit where they will become fly-on-the-wall witnesses as she returns from work and goes about her evening. As the night progresses, loneliness bleeds into desperation and we begin to understand the full extent of her isolation, even though she has said nothing at all.

Programmed and produced by Bruce Adams for Thrust in collaboration with Otherplace Brighton.
