  • “Incredibly brave, intensely theatrical, truly transformative.” Nick Herrett

July 2005. The G8 summit, Live8, the 2012 Olympic bid. London is alive, and the eyes of the world are focused on the city. Then, devastation.

“This city is never silent. It feels charged. As though something remarkable is going to happen.”

Thrust reassesses a critical moment from a post-Olympics perspective, in a radical stripped-bare staging by artistic director Bruce Adams.
